A hair dryer is an electrical appliance that dries hair and was invented at the end of the 19th century. A mechanical device that generates wind and simultaneously raises the temperature of the air by electrically accelerating the flow of air. Most of the hair dryer will blow hot air through the hair hotline, accelerate the evaporation of water, and the cold wind is relatively small damage to the hair.
The wind from the hair dryer, which carries air molecules with increased kinetic energy, transfers kinetic energy in the process of colliding with water molecules on the surface of tiny droplets, causing it to break the hydrogen bonds between the water molecules and break away from the originally attached surfaces (i.e. evaporation), and the hair dries. If the hot air is blown out, its energy can improve the energy of the shock and collision of air molecules and water molecules, and accelerate evaporation, so it increases the efficiency of drying.
Industrial use of hair dryer is often called hot air gun, the operation principle is the same, but the air volume is usually small, blowing hot air temperature is higher, in the electronics industry is often used to soldering electronic parts.
